Seaweed provides a vital source of food and habitat for marine species and plays a key role in maintaining the ocean's chemistry.
It’s also very useful - from toothpaste to jelly, fertiliser to face packs… seaweed comes in all colours and shapes.
'Gwymona' is a Welsh verb, meaning 'to gather seaweed (for use as fertiliser)' - it was an important part of life here in the past and we want to bring it back.
